Community Engagement

Seeking the views of the community.

In relation to Community Consultation, we identify relevant community organisations and community groups and will engage with them to brief them fully on the proposed development, highlighting the benefits to their community and specifically their core interest. We also identify potential groups that would benefit from aspects of the proposal and actively hone them as third-party supporters.

We seek the views of the community to help shape the planning application to ensure that any proposed development benefits from their valued input but also to ensure that the proposal is integrated swiftly and fully into the existing community.

These could include:

  • Residents’ Associations
  • Community Groups
  • Cultural Associations
  • Sports Associations
  • Leisure Associations
  • Specific interest groups

We build relationships with these groups and remain in contact with them throughout the planning process.
